Bone Girl Music Boxes
The concept began with the death of Sophia Lindley-Kessler in 2005 but were not created until my niece Allison died 15 months later. Initially these were acts of process of these losses, since then the music boxes have evolved to address other aspects of the human experience. The inclusion of music box movements is an element from my childhood recalling delight, innocence and dreams. This piece began with a dream.

A wonderful line of art resulting from sadnesss, which gives such a deeper meaning to the pieces.
